Every photo you take is more than a picture. Tucked invisibly inside the file is a layer of information describing how, when, and often where the image was created. This is called metadata, and most people share it without ever knowing it is there. MetaLens exists to make that hidden layer visible, so you can understand exactly what a photo carries before you send or publish it.
The best-known type is EXIF data, which cameras and phones write automatically: the make and model of the device, the exposure settings behind the shot, the date and time, and โ if location was enabled โ precise GPS coordinates. Photos can also carry IPTC fields for captions, credits and copyright, and XMP data recording edits and keywords from software like Lightroom and Photoshop.
